The demos here are recreations with fictional brands and fake data. The original work was done at Ad Exchange Group.

Try it

I built the PHP sales funnels, and the data they sent back fed the dashboards affiliate managers used to answer one question for each affiliate: for the money going in, where were the sales coming from? Pick a date range or traffic source, then open an affiliate to see where people drop off and which sources pay for themselves.

This is a reconstruction from memory with invented affiliates and numbers. It shows the kind of view the team relied on, not the original screens.

The problem

Affiliate managers needed to track each affiliate’s conversions so they could send more traffic to the most profitable sources and fulfill orders. The bottleneck was the data itself: it arrived raw and didn’t give them enough insight to make those decisions.

What I did

I talked with the managers to understand what they needed to know, then worked out how to show it. Quick-glance metrics came first, backed by deeper analytics that showed trends over time and put the numbers each manager cared about front and center.

Result

Managers could spend more of their time finding new affiliates in different verticals, and they could share key insights with the affiliates already in the network.
